Thursday January 13, 2010 a Pyxis archnoides oblonga is born in the Netherlands.


The date of egg-laying was Saturday May 1, 2010.
The breeding cycle in the incubator consists of 70 days with a temperature of 30,1 degrees Celsius. The next period of about 70 days was cool and somewhat dryer.
Monday July 5, 2010 the egg was placed in a room with a temperature during the day of round 21 degrees Celsius and at night sinking till round 18 degrees Celsius. Sunday September 26, 2010 the egg was placed back in the incubator.
At birth there were no rests of yolk present. The birth weight was 9 gramme.
